Theological note: The measure bears on the just treatment of workers, the honoring of existing agreements, and the proper limits of executive authority over statutory labor rights. These are real concerns of general equity and stewardship, but the bill's main effect is a prudential dispute over federal labor policy rather than a direct advancement or restraint of a named moral evil.
