Theological note: The bill bears on truthful dealing and stewardship of the home. Requiring honest disclosure of hidden recording capacity respects the consumer's right to know what enters his household. Because the measure only requires disclosure and does not limit government or private monitoring, its relevance to household intrusion is modest.
